Ashwin Narayan completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India in 2016. During his degree, he worked on bio-inspired robots and developed a stable gait pattern for quadruped locomotion as a part of his final year project. He was a Ph.D. candidate under Dr. Yu Haoyong that graduated in 2021.During his PhD he worked on intention detection methods for lower limb exoskeleton devices.
He is currently a Research Fellow in NUS Biorobotics Lab. He works on using wearable embedded hardware and sensors for real-time control of exoskeleton robots.
